Sheltered Arms are a new provider in Kent our aim is to provide support, care, and short-term intervention to vulnerable young people. This is to enhance their independence, build self-worth and develop their confidence with the goal of reintegrating them back into the community. We specialize in firstly providing a home for young people; where they will feel settled and safe. These can be 24 hour staffed properties or residences serviced by our floating support team. We also specialise in providing a range of services to support the young people in achieving independence. All of our packages will be tailor-made and regularly reviewed to meet the specific needs of each service user. While Sheltered Arms is relatively young as a company in the care services sector it is made up of four director managers who have extensive experience as local authority social workers and one OFSTED inspector.
The company maintains a tight working relationship with local care authorities and connected professionals. As an active member of Social Care Alliance, the company is highly resourced to deliver the care and support services it offers. The company intends to achieve ' excellent ' graded quality assured membership status. It aims to run the service with the same high standards and ethos as other SCA members by applying a culture of continuous improvement. Front line staff are handpicked for their unique qualities and dedication to the progressive development, safety and wellbeing of our service users.
